First—thank you for your patience.

Christmas week got ahead of me more than I planned, and I wasn’t able to post this worksheet on Wednesday like I intended. I appreciate you sticking with me through the holiday shuffle and giving me the grace to land it a few days later.

This worksheet is designed to pair directly with the foil-character craft post and help you move from understanding the concept to actively applying it to your own story. It’s meant to be reflective rather than prescriptive—something you can return to at different stages of drafting to sharpen character contrast and clarify intent.

If you’ve ever had a character who felt “off” but couldn’t quite name why, this exercise is meant to help you find that answer.
